Gus Gun leather is a small shop located in mid- Michigan. Owned and operated by myself, John "GUS" Sibole.

  I started leatherworking a few years ago in anticipation of retiring. The motivation to do leatherwork was my interest in firearms, and in turn holsters. I grew interested in firearms when I was in the United States Marine Corps. When my contract ended I started shooting Bullseye (Pistol) and mid-range (600Yds) rifle competitions. I did that up until a couple of years ago.

  I had a couple of store bought holsters that were adequate but was wanting a custom made (to my firearm) holster. So, I looked around on the interwebs and found someone that would make one for me. Once I received the holster I was astonished on how  much more superior it was  to the store bought holsters. That was when I thought to myself "I could do this", and so I embarked on the rewarding journey into leatherwork.

  Being a Marine, a certain mentality was engrained into my "brain carrier group" and is why I strive to make the best product that I possibly can, with the attention it, and the customer deserves. I work on one holster at a time,  giving it my full attention from start to finish. I am not by any means a production facility as it "IS" only myself running the shop. Everything I make is on a custom "to order" basis. I have no stock.
